of course,as you can see, Jhon mayer's new album“Battle Studies”
皆さんお分かりの通り、もちろんジョン・メイヤーのBattle Studiesです。
I bought its deluxe edition which is CD＋DVD set.
僕はCD＋DVDのデラックスエディションを買いました。
I saw a its Live DVD at once.still,his guitar play was awesome!
早速ライブDVDを観ましたがやっぱり彼のギタープレイは凄いですね。
I think the most remarkable point of his guitar technique is his finger picking.
彼のギターテクニックで最も特筆すべきはフィンガーピッキングじゃないかなぁ？
and the arrangement skill that makes his original songs change into something different like a another one.
それと自分の曲を別の曲ようにできるアレンジ能力かな？
lets go back to CD stuff.especially,I'm often listening to “heartbreak warfare”
CDの話に戻ると、heartbreak warfareを特によく聴いてます。
I was impressed by its lyrics“if you want more love,why dont you say so? ”
この歌詞の｢愛が欲しいのなら、なんで欲しいと言わないの？｣がなんか印象に残りました。
yeah,exactlly right.

well,back to CD's story again,My first impression for this album was a little bit plain,though.
さて、またCDの話に戻るけど、このアルバムを聴いた時の第一印象は少し地味かな？って思ったけど、
the more listen to it,the better I found it.
聴けば聴くほど良さがわかってきました。
it reminds me when I listend to his second album “heavier things”at first.
この感じはセカンドアルバムHevier thingsを聴いたときに似てるな。
btw,while I havent been updating my blog, I have persistently playing “Cross Roads”in this album.
rather,it would say obsessively.
それと、ブログを放置してる間、このアルバムに入ってるクロスローズを弾きまくってました。とりつかれたようにと言ってもいいくらい。(笑)
solo part is relatively easy but…
ソロパートは比較的簡単なんだけど、
playing the rhysm guitar and singing this song at the same time is quite more difficult than I thought.
リフ弾きながら、歌うのが思ってたより難しい
probably,it'll take about two weeks to one month to be able to play it completly.
たぶん完璧に弾けるには２週間から一ヵ月はかかるかな？
but I like such a feeling singing and playing the guitar are little by little synchronized.
でも、ギターと歌が少しずつシンクロしてくる感じが好きなんですよね
and then,speaking of cross roads, this song's lyrics represemts my now feeling.
そしてクロスローズと言えば、この曲の歌詞って今の僕の気持ちを代弁してる歌でもあるんですよ。
I'm not telling you anything now but,in my life,I'm standing at a cross roads.…
まだ今は何も言えないけど、僕の人生においても、人生の十字路というか、岐路に立ってる感じがします…
