If you think you are a good golfer then that means that you should buy good, read that as expensive, golf clubs and premium three-piece golf balls, right? Before you answer that you should ponder the results of this consumer research study that was done at the University of Michigan. The participants in the study were all weekend golfers with handicaps in the 18 to 20 range for those people who had official handicaps. There was a total of about 60 participants in the study. It took place in a large sporting-goods store. The participants were selected from レイバン サングラス consumers who can come into the store to shop for golf balls. The experiment consisted of putting balls on レイバン ウェイファーラー a nice flat artificial green located in the store. One half of the participants were asked to putt at 3 ft. from the hole. The other half of the participants had to putt at 10 ft. from the hole. You already know that the participants who putted from 3 ft. holed out significantly more putts than the people who were putting from the longer distance. The interesting part of the study is that the people who putted at 3 ft. from the hole said they were better golfers than the other group and tended to buy the more expensive brands of golf balls. The group that putted from 10 ft. and missed many more putts said they were not as good golfers as people in the other group and tended to purchase the less expensive brands of golf balls.Despite the obvious difference in difficulty between a 3 ft. putt and a 10 ft. putt the participants still made a self-assessment of their skills based on the results of the experiment rather than any external evidence and still purchased golf balls that they thought would be more appropriate for their perceived skill level. One conclusion of the study is that because most golf manufacturers make both clubs and balls that they associate with different レイバン メガネ skill levels - beginner, average, and advanced - that consumers automatically feel that they should purchase clubs and balls from one of those categories based on their self-assessment of their skills. There is nothing nefarious going on here. The golf manufacturers are just trying to put each of their product lines in the right competitive niche. It should encourage any golfers who have been thinking about getting a new set of clubs custom fit to go ahead and do so. You do not have to be a scratch golfer to benefit from a custom fit set of clubs. Any golfer would play better golf and score lower with clubs that were designed especially for their physique and swing.
