These days I'm stuck on traditional Japanese culture, such as kimono, name of colours, and incence.

It's surpising that I always find something interesting when I walk around Kyoto city, though I had lived in the suburb of Kyoto for ten years.

Today's discovery is an old historic incence shop.

The picture is a stick incence named 'Hanachirusato' which means a village where flowers are falling. 'Hanachirusato' is also a name of a character of a Japanese classic 'the tale of Genji'. She is a noble woman and my favourite. The smell is tender and sweet, like her amiable character.

There were a lot of events during my silence. I hope I have not forgotten English very much...

Hmm...I have no idea what I gonna write.
I had been at the library to study.

I'm very tired, but feel satisfied. It's far better to do something enthusiastically than to do nothing.

My colleague gave me scones which she bought at a tearoom in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo.

There are a great deal of scones in Japan and I ate as many as possible. Indeed, I had one in this morning and another in the afternoon!
Then I would say the ones she brought are the best scones we can buy in Japan.
No need to say the taste, and the shape is perfect.

I couldn't help buying the bag on the picture, as it says 'Cotswolds cream tea time', though I'm not sure if it's proper English or not.
It's still quite cold and we had extraordinalily windy rainy day today.

The train delayed and there are full of passengers. Gosh, I can't move!

My friend sent me Seiko-tei's walnut biscuits.

The box is so lovely and the squirrel sais "いつも ありがとうございます" which means thank you any time.

I went to a cafe named Akane-chaya which means madder tea house when I stayed in Oita.

I had been eager to visit there since I was a child, but I had missed chance to do. So, my long-cherised wish came true!

The house is always covered with ivy and the smoke comes from the chimney in winter. That means there is a fireplace inside and it's pretty rare in Japan.

A lot of dishes and pots are sold at the cafe and I bought a pair of small tea bowl.

I went to the Garden of Wuhan during my stay in Oita.

The garden was planned to commemorate the chinese city which is a Sister City of Oita.
I have gone to a picnic there in my childhood.

There were a pagoda, pond, bridge, bamboo trees, willow trees, and splendid gate. They were smaller than I'd thought, but still brilliant.
