During the summer vacation, I went to Vietnam with my friend. I forgot to bring my new glasses to the trip because I had no trouble in daily life without glasses.
But I noticed the inconvenience when I faced the boarding card in the plane. In the narrow and poorly lighted space of economy class, I could not stretch my arms enough. Then I thought,
“ Do I have to stand up to write this card?”
During the trip, my guidebook was totally useless. Only some pictures helped me. I annoyed my friend with many questions during the trip.
“What is it?”
“ How much ?”
“ What size is this? ”
“ What does it say ?”
Taking pictures also bothered me. I could see the subjects for photography but I couldn’t see the display without glasses. I was missing my glasses so much.
They sometimes bother me, especially when I use them with a mask in winter. Lenses mist up with my breath when I am speaking. So I feel I need a tiny wiper on my glasses. It must be cool. But I have never seen such kind of glasses. Have you?
There’s a saying about glasses. It says,
“In your life you need two kinds of glasses. One is a telescope to see the goal of life in the future and the other is a magnifying glass to see the small happiness in your daily life.” Yes, it’s true.
But what I need most is the glasses that never mist up!
