If a person picks up on some body's line, it breeds resentment.
I have an intense dislike of people chipping in when i'm talking to someone. To me, it's disturbing and offensive. If I want to ask for your opinion, I will invite you to talk. If not, better shut it.
After moving to the Lounge, there is no room for me to give vent to my frustration. My colleague knows that and she can feel that I'm bottling up my feelings. The reason that I and my colleague can't talk freely is that we have eyes and ears around. News travels fast; and news travels EVEN faster with the presence of eyes and ears. The thought of sharing the same work space with this eyes and ears fills me with dread.
So lemme talk about the weather. The temperature is plunging and the northerly wind is picking up. It is getting colder...but baby told me that the temp in saskatoon is -50!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!
I have been toying with the idea of writing a blog as a long-term solution to my English deterioration and finally, I can set the wheels rolling!
Recently my job duties include coordinating a scholarship interview plan, which is described as an important overall strategy in internationalizing student population this year. For this scholarship interview, we are/will be pouring out a substantial amount of money for placing advertisements in newspapers or magazines. Since the amount we spend is huge, my boss thinks there is a need for us to know how well our ad works.
She opted for waiving students' application fee, which is an option that can be considered, especially for students from LDC. In our ad, it is a must for us to mention such thing but it's too commercial to say something like "APPLY NOW and have your application fee waived!!!" It's just CHEAP! What I think is that education should be separated from something toooo related to money. Of course, students should pay their tuition and that scholarships are important to students. But I took exception to commercializing an undergraduate programme. 
With regards to life at the Lounge, everything is fine despite the eyes and ears next to me. Will continue will this topic tomorrow since I'm dead tired!!!
