My boss hates me!
Okay, I've told about this project I've got last week?
Yeah, well, since it's a big project and I'm mostly working alone on it my boss got me a trainee.
We are working with different universities and are part of an exchange student program.
So now I'm stranded with 19 year old american Marry. She studies architecture at UCLA and is
...how do I say it...
cheery?
happy?
Yeah, let's say she's happy.
But the bad kind of happy.
The annoying kind of happy.
The first hour it was funny to watch. She was all cheery and fussy.
The second hour got a little annoying since she seems to be unable to keep her mouth closed for more than 2 seconds.
The third hour I tried to get her to annoy some of my colleagues. Didn't work.
The fourth hour I let her sort files in the storage room. (I actually got some work done in that time) (^∇^)
After the fifth hour I surrendered and fled the office.
Why?
She came up with the idea of giving all of us a question paper to get to know us.
After telling my boss that I want a new trainee since this one is obviously broken he told me to play along and that I had to keep her. (`Δ´)
He hates me!
So no I'm currently sitting in Starbucks and have to answer her questions.
What kind of questions are these to ask your coworkers?
I think for the next 8 weeks I'm going to do a lot of work at home.
Don't get me wrong. I like happy people. I'm one myself. But this girl is a whole different level of happy.
Did you watch the movie "Over the Hedge"? If you haven't, watch it. It's really funny. (*^▽^*)
Well, Marry is the human equivalent of the squirrel in this movie. Just with more caffeine.
I definitely need more coffee to work with her. (‐^▽^‐)
