To attend the meeting at the Center for International Education (CIE) on Northern Arizona University (NAU), we went the office shortly before 9:00 am. Since this was the first official meeting for the delegation from Japan, I felt nervous to think whether the meeting would be going well or not.

Initially, we met the supervisor of my programme mate, Mandy. She seemed to be sincere and trully welcomed us. After short introduction, she took us to the room located in the downstair of the building and there we waited for Hervay for a while. As Hervay entered the room, the explanation of Internationalization of NAU had been began. He spoke to us really slowly and cleary to make us easy to understand his remark. When his speech was completed, I inquired a question on his challenging to operate and enhance the internationalization of NAU.

When the meeting was finished, he asked our shedule in the afternoon and Mandy kindly proposed to visit Grand Canyon on this once in the life time opportunity and arranged the schedule with her colleague to be afforded to go there.  I and one of my coworker from human career support department visit to Careee Services Department to learn their supporting system for students. One of the staff of CIE led us to the office with having a small conversation and it was so fun to talk with her she was amazingly beautiful and sexy. I was suprised at its functional and well-equipped office for students services.

Subsequently to the meeting, we went back to CIE and have a lunch with Harvay and Mandy. Mandy sat on the seat in front of me and her wink made my heart pounding. Regardless of my anxiety on how I should keep our conversation since some of my colleagues were not good at English, this lunceon was so amicable.

The luncheon was done and then we turned to the excusion to Grand Canyon. On the way to our destination, it was continuously stormy, but it getting better when we approaching more closely. At last, we arrived Grand Canyon at around 14:00 and the condition was perfect to observe its magnificent view right after the storm removing the particle in the air. Especailly, the sunset to the Grand Canyon covered with snow was trully fantastic. Same to me, my colleague looked so impressed by the beauty and it made me happy. We left Grand Canyon and drove back to Fragstaff with talking about how to internationalize our University in Japan.

As we got back to Fragstaff, we enjoyed Mexican food for our dinner. It was also fun for me to drink with my colleague in my room after the diner.
