[Lulu] Yuna chose her own path. She knew from the beginning what it meant. All we can do is protect her along the way. Until the end.
(Yunaは自分で選んだのよ。それがどんな意味か彼女が初めから知っていたわ。私達が出来る事は彼女を守ることよ。最後までね。)

[Tidus] Until the...end?
(最後…まで？)

[Lulu] (沈黙するLulu)

[Tidus] What's the end?
(最後って何だよ？)

[Lulu] Until she defeats Sin.
(Sinを倒すまでよ。)

[Tidus] Oh.

[Yuna] I hope...I hope I did okay.
(うまく、出来たかな？)

[Lulu] You did very well! They've reached the Farplane by now. But... no tears next time, hm?
(うまく出来たわ！！彼らは今頃異界に行ってるわ。でも、次は涙は無しね？)

I wished there would never be a next time.

No more people being killed by Sin.
　Sinに人々が殺されるなんてもうたくさんだ。
No more sendings for Yuna.
　Yunaの"sendings"ももうたくさんだ。
Everyone stood there watching her.
　みんなが彼女のことを立って見ていた。
It was strange, and somehow...horrifying.
　それは奇妙で、なんか…怖かった。
I never wanted to see it again.

[Tidus] Uh, what's a "sending"? Are we going somewhere?
(あのさ、"sending"って何？俺達どこか行くのか？)

[Lulu] You truly are clueless. Are you sure it's just your memory that's the problem?
(あんた本当に無知なのね。記憶だけの問題じゃなかったの？)

1:手がかりのない.

[Lulu] The dead need guidance. Filled with grief over their own death, they refuse to face their fate.
(死者は導きが必要なの。自分の死への悲しみでいっぱいになって、その運命を拒否するの。)

新たな現実

[Tidus's narrative]
When Sin attacked Zanarkand that day, I woke up in Spira.
(Sinがザナルカンドを襲ったあの日、俺はスピラで目覚めた。)

I kept hoping it would work in reverse, too.
(俺はその逆もあるんじゃないかって期待してた。)


[Yuna] I will defeat Sin... I must defeat Sin.
(私Sinを倒します。必ず倒します。)

[Tidus's narrative]
I was just fooling myself. Maybe it was that day... on the sea, under the burning sun,
俺はただ自分を誤魔化してたんだ。たぶんあの日…　海で、あの燃えるような太陽の下で、

I started to give up hope. I was in a foreign world. I wasn't going home.
俺は希望を諦め始めたんだ。俺は知らない世界にいて故郷には戻れないんだ。

This was my new reality, and I was stuck in it for good.
これは新しい俺の現実、そして永遠に逃れられないんだって。

(風が気持いいね。）

[Yuna] You're a blitzball player, aren't you? From Zanarkand, right?

[Tidus] Uh... You hear that from Wakka?
(あーWakkaから聞いたの？)

[Yuna] Mm-hm.

[Tidus] Ah...Wakka. Wakka doesn't believe me at all.
(Wakkaは、Wakkaは全然信じてないんだ。)

[Tidus] My father...his name is Jecht!

[Yuna] You know, our meeting like this must be the blessing of Yevon!
(私達の出会いは、エボンの賜物だわ。)

[Tidus] Sounds like him, but it can't be him.
(オヤジみたいな感じがするけど、ありえないな。)

[Yuna] Why not?

[Tidus] My old man, he died. Ten years ago, off the coast of Zanarkand.
(俺のオヤジ、死んだんだ。10年前にね。ザナルカンドの海岸でね。)

[Yuna] I'm sorry.
(ごめんなさい。)

[Tidus] He went out to sea for training one day...and never came back. And no one's seen him since then.
(ある日トレーニングに行って、帰って来なかった。それから誰もオヤジを見てないんだ。)

[Yuna] Why, that's the day that Jecht came to Spira.
(それは、Jechtさんがスピラに来た日なんだよ！)

[Tidus] But--
(でも…)

[Yuna] It's true! I first met Jecht ten years and three months ago!
(本当よ！私は10年と3ヶ月前に初めてJechtさんに会ったの！)
