In about 5 days time, there will be a new start to my life. Gone are the days I spend trying to speak to big shots in the tourism industry. Well, there are lots that I have learned here but it is time to move on.

FIRSTLY.

Trip to Bali with Apa! We're gonna share a beautiful 2 bedroom pool villa at this very ATAS resort in Bali. All for free because Apa has amazing clients who want to host us for free.

Then we are going for good food, beautiful scenery and lots of sea sports. NICE.

Then I will start working on my small little project... Shall see.

Bye for now. :)

I know most of you probably know I really don't like anything Korean and love everything Japanese. But well, this kinda thing boils down to preference. You like it, fine, I respect that. But that doesn't mean that I have to like it as well.

I don't mind reading blog entries or even sometimes hearing about people talking about Kpop. You want to talk about it, fine. It's a free country.

But I hate it, and I really do mean hate it, when people ask me why I like Japanese stuff even when there is this "K-POP" wave. First things first, I did not like Japanese stuff even during the "J-POP" wave. And then I will say that I love Japan for Japan itself, as a country with its own unique culture. Then they will tell me that they feel the same for Korea.

NO IT IS NOT THE SAME. for most cases.

Well, if you want to say you love the country for the culture and the language, it means that even if all the popstars/actors/musicians/celebrities died in that country, television and computers cease to exist there, there are only normal regular people hanging around, you will still enjoy the country as it is. It also mean that you don't have to spend ANY time in any tourist attraction to enjoy the country; just breathing the air is enough to get you high.

And some dare to say they love it b'cause of the language, You can only say that if you are one who feels happy just being able to hear it from any random native, not because you understand it on TV shows. And if it is the culture that you love, you will want to stay in the rural area, attend their festivals, go to their cities and towns just to enjoy people-watching and taking part in what they do.

It is perfectly fine to love K-pop. There is no wrong in it as it is personal preference. It is just that... don't compare your craze for K-pop with my love for Japan, it's colourful culture, the beautiful sights, unique individuals, different food culture... the beautiful language with its funky dialects.

It might sound freaky to some, but this is what I am. It's not just simply J-pop.

One simple summary, don't compare me with them.

Lastly, this speaks for myself. There are people who love J-pop for J-pop. But... yes. For me, this is the case. So if you don't understand ... just shut up, shut up, shut up. Alright?
