Since I was wearing kimono today for other activity I decided to practice "otemae " I am learning with a tea master Satoko Souheki Mori
That was a pretend practice without hot water or maccha. Since I just started to seriously learn after years of absence I do not have proper tools. So I abused the concept of "mitate" which means using similar items which can look like a real one.
The maccha cup is a cappuccino cap.
The water pot is my Italian utencil holder as it says at front. The holder for the "hishaku" is an egg stand.
Since I have a tendency of doing major shopping at the begging of "something new and exciting" and going downhill from there...
This wiser me decided to go with what I have right now.
It's snowing outside. Silly but good thing to do at home and ...
I began to like that side of me ☺️
