楽しいバレンタイン
でしたか？
今朝のミシガンは雪ですよ～。
ちなみにカナダ、アメリカでは
バレンタインは女男関係なく
好きな人にプレゼントする日です。
我が家では
昨日の朝、急に
「あー、今日ケビンが来るから！」
といきなり言われました。
ケビンとは、主人の取引先の偉い
カナディアンです。
今、仕事でミシガンに単身赴任しているので
前々から招待しようと言ってたけど
今日？
てなわけで、
午後は仕事がないから
ボーッとしよう計画は
延期になり、
掃除したりラザニア作ったり。
でもさすがケビン！
お花を持ってきてくれました！
もちろん私も義理チョコを
用意してましたよ！
え？
夫は？
「そっか～、今日はもう１１日か」
なんて言って
バレンタインまで
後３日だから
まだ余裕だねアピールをしてました。

Valentine's?
Yesterday, my husband says to me
"Oh by the way, Kevin is coming over tonight"
What?!?!
Kevin is a pretty important client.
He's Canadian but has been
here in Michigan for work
for the past several months.
We've been meaning to have him over
for a while,
but today
So my plans to just chill out
for the afternoon got postponed
and I had to clean and make lasagna.
But of course Kevin being
the nice guy that he is,
he brought me flowers!
I love you Kevin
As for my husband?
He said
"Oh yeah, it's the 11th today.
Almost Valentine's"
Ummm....it's today actually!
