相変わらず毎日楽しく忙しく過ごしております。
加藤とともにDr MONROEのクリスマスパーティーに参加した帰り道に書いています。名古屋の方が東京より寒かった！
Sync Noteもお陰様で一周年を迎えることができました。ありがとうございました。サンタ眼鏡は伊藤社長です(笑)。

11/15-11/17に、Tricky Diagnosisの第2段のイベントとして、渋谷のGallery LE DECOにて写真展を開催いたしました。

橋本すみれ氏による2011年7月-2012年7月までのMAYA一年間の記録写真『MAYA』を中心に、加藤のコスプレ写真など様々な顔＝"Faces"を、バー形式の空間にて展示。
無事三日間大盛況にて終了し、MAYA写真集サンプルは完売、数百枚からなる原本も数冊受注をいただきました。誠にありがとうございました。

個人的には、現在のMAYAに関わって下さっている方々だけでなく、"マヤ"名付けの親本人、大昔に苦楽をともにした旧友や、これまでの人生の段階における色々な私の「顔」を知る人達が、沢山来てくれたことが嬉しかった。走馬灯のようでした。
自身を世間に晒すことはそれなりに勇気が要ったことで、批判や中傷や別れも覚悟でのことでしたが、アートの力を再認識。それぞれの解釈があり、それぞれでご納得いただけたようで、素晴らしい時間でした。
今回初めてヌードにも挑戦。何かが邪魔して断り続けたヌード。そんな中、写真展数日前に恩師より「ヌードはプライドがある人が脱ぐからこそいいんだ」というお言葉をいただき、撮ることを決意いたしました。
思った以上によい経験でした。今だからこそ、なのでしょう。波瀾万丈な半生でしたが、過去と現在を和解させ、一つの区切りをつけることができました。
カメラマンの橋本さんをはじめ、どんな姿になろうとこれまでMAYAを見捨てず(笑)支え応援し続けて下さった方々に、
この場をお借りしお礼を申し上げます。本当にありがとうございました。
これからもMAYAは進化し続けます。今後は危なっかしくない別の形で(苦笑)。

Hi.
Many things to tell.
It has been a long journey to come up to this point.
I have to say it was rough and a bit too colorful.
Now I'm heading back to Tokyo with Etsuko, after the X'mas party at Dr MONROE Nagoya.
We commemorated our first anniversary of Sync Note by Dr MONROE this October. We appreciate your support.

As the 2nd key of Tricky Diagnosis, we held a photo exhibition with the name of "Faces" from Nov15-17, at Gallery LE DECO Shibuya.
【Japanese ver. Flyer 1,2】
Mainly were photos of "MAYA-history of 1 year-," shot by Sumire Hashimoto from July 2011-July 2012, and images of Etsuko in cosplay. Sample photo books of "MAYA" were sold out.
Thank you so much for taking your time to visit us. We hope the photos and our original bar style helped you relax and find your lost keys or new imaginations.

Personally, I was greatly impressed to see not only people who I work with now, but many old friends and teachers, including the very person who gave me the name "MAYA."
At the same time, although it was quite a challenge to expose my private self in public, it was an event which reminded me the power and importance of universal art.
It was also my first time to stand in front of the camera all naked. A few days before the exhibition, when we were already advertising the event, one of my teachers told me that
"Nude is beautiful not because you have no sense of shame. It's because the subject has pride."
I never thought that way, and just rejected many chances. It was the best time for me.
As a result, It was totally a precious moment indeed than I had imagined. It let me bring sort of an end to the matters in life.
I truly thank photographer Sumire Hashimoto, and everybody, who supported me, loved the "faces" of MAYA, and waited and saw my footprints all the way.
From now on, it is my turn to give it back to you.

You know there are so many worlds, I can only say, if you have any questions in life,
you just try, look at it, and find your own answers.
I feel grateful to have means of getting a message across.
By the way, CSM; Gender-less Style from TOKYO has changed its name to"TOMBOY TOKYO."
For its market shifting from Japan to Asia, I MAYA as a model, usually talk in English and Chinese.

Dr MONROE ×Kenji Kamiyama ×Tokyo Otaku Mode collaborative models had been released !!
Kenji Kamiyama is a famous animation director, known for "KOUKAKUKIDOUTAI STAND ALONE COMPLEX" series.
I was given a chance to visit the preview of "009 RE:CYBORG," his latest work, with Masakazu Ito, president and designer of Dr MONROE.

After starting my career as a designer,
I started a business with my friend Etsuko Kato, who is not only also a designer, but also a make up artist,
naming it "Tricky Diagnosis -key to another world-."
We do mostly jewelry design and event management.
Our mission is not only to propose a fresh new way of fashion, beauty and art that suits one's lifestyle,
but also to empower various fields of business, especially the japanese silver jewelry industry,
by offering a place to gather and have a meaningful exchange with other projects.

On April 21 we held a large event at WOMB LOUNGE Shibuya, which had been a great success,
presenting our new fashion brand KISS THE RAIL,
as well as introducing our items of Sync Note by Dr MONROE,
inviting various DJs, singers, dancers and artists.

The Origami time was most acclaimed as a very good project.
I rediscovered that just one kind of art can promote communication between people.
As a result, we donated 313 cranes to Hiroshima Peace Park, located in my home town.
We also sold original T-shirts and stickers for charity.
Kato's home town Iwate was severly damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

These are activities we would like, commit and plan to do.
Now we are scheduled to give an exhibition this autumn.
Any form we might take, we hope our diagnosis will lead you to another world.
Other than that, in this period I've been performing as a dancer.
It is a marvelous experience to create an original show with fellows with same spirits.
As you can see in the photos of the event, I continue my job as a model, too.

Becoming over 30 was totally pleasant than I imagined.
Everybody say I should focus on one thing or settle down,
the truth is that I'm just following one simple and steady path of my life work.
To a lesser or greater degree, isn't that what it is all about ?
Legend says when you can't sleep at night, it's because you're awake in someone else's dream.
Just keep calm and Hakunamatata.
I thank my family, friends, business partners, my manager, close ones, and everybody I met.
Be ready to it.

新たな出会いと交流の場になったことを祈りつつ。

折紙タイムが意外にも好評でした。
たった一つのアートを通じて人と人とがコミュニケーションをとることができることを再認識。
大切なのは、場所ときっかけです。
折紙は私の趣味なのですが、広島県出身の私には、特別な思い入れがあります。
以前米国で外国人に教えたこともあるのですが、
日本の美しい伝統芸術であり、コストもかからず気軽に楽しめることから、世界へこの素晴らしさをもっと発信していこうと考えているところです。
イベントで皆様に折っていただいた313羽の折鶴(＋チャボや鶴の進化型？や百合ややっこさん…etc笑)は広島平和記念公園に寄附させていただきます。
郵送してもよいのですが、やはりこの手で届けたいので、原爆の日までに帰省を兼ねて行って参ります。
また加藤の出身地が東日本大震災の被災地であることもあり、
チャリティーにてTricky DiagnosisのオリジナルＴシャツとステッカーを販売いたしました。
売上金16800円(Ｔシャツ10枚＋ステッカー9枚)については加藤より岩手県に届けます。
ご協力誠にありがとうございました。
スタッフだけで30人を超え、大変勉強になった一日でした。

折紙タイムが意外にも好評でした。
たった一つのアートを通じて人と人とがコミュニケーションをとることができることを再認識。
大切なのは、場所ときっかけです。
折紙は私の趣味なのですが、広島県出身の私には、特別な思い入れがあります。
以前米国で外国人に教えたこともあるのですが、
日本の美しい伝統芸術であり、コストもかからず気軽に楽しめることから、世界へこの素晴らしさをもっと発信していこうと考えているところです。
イベントで皆様に折っていただいた313羽の折鶴(＋チャボや鶴の進化型？や百合ややっこさん…etc笑)は広島平和記念公園に寄附させていただきます。
郵送してもよいのですが、やはりこの手で届けたいので、原爆の日までに帰省を兼ねて行って参ります。
また加藤の出身地が東日本大震災の被災地であることもあり、
チャリティーにてTricky DiagnosisのオリジナルＴシャツとステッカーを販売いたしました。
売上金16800円(Ｔシャツ10枚＋ステッカー9枚)については加藤より岩手県に届けます。
ご協力誠にありがとうございました。
スタッフだけで30人を超え、大変勉強になった一日でした。

お蔭様で30代は思った以上に充実しそうです。
現在秋の展示会に向けて動いています。
あ、今秋といえばねぇ、リラちゃんがハリウッド進出よ！！タイヘン！！
表参道でバッタリ会ったのも、もう3年前でしょうか。
沢山の人と出会い、様々な素晴らしい経験をさせていただき、
ジェネラリスト或いはメディウム役として能力を発揮することに気付いたこの頃。
次はコンサルタントかしら？翻訳家でしょうか？
冗談ですよ。もうブレませんから。
夢は全部叶った。
本当のスタートはこれから。
絞ることができず注意散漫に生きてきた私ですが、今からが勝負です。
でも、全て繋がっていますから。
眠れない時は誰かの夢で起きているとのこと。
ただクールに、やるだけ。
家族、友人、ビジネスパートナー、マネージャー、恋人、関わって下さった全ての方々に感謝を捧げます。

It has been some time since I last wrote.
Many things have changed.
Dr MONROE have closed our branch shop at Omotesando at the end of September this year.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.
It was a shocking incident, however, we have good news.
We are set to open a new-style shop in Hankyu Umeda, Osaka, on October 31st.
At the same time, we are introducing a new brand which we named "Sync Note".
I must give great thanks to the Dr MONROE staff to have given me an opportunity to design the main items.
For that reason, now days have been super busy, but somehow, in a week before becoming 30,
I recognize I have gotten so far, so close to the image I had long persued.
I hope you like the products.

素晴らしかった。改めてファッションとアートの力を感じました。
遠くにいる他人にお金を払うという行為は人間そう簡単にできるものではありませんが、
好きなアーティストの写真ならば買ってしまう。そういうものです。
あれほどの人とお金を集めるには、街頭で立って募金お願いしますと言ったって(勿論それも大切なことですが)
何年かかるか分かりません。
ヨコシマな動機であれ、間接的にでも力になることができれば十分だと思います。
やはり私もこの道に進むしかないと心底l思いました。
一年前の今日、私はオフィスで仕事をしていましたが、
パソコンは倒れコーヒーはこぼれ書類は散乱し、叫ぶ人もいれば走る人もいました。
電車が止まり東京でも難民が出ました。
生活用品は品切れとなり、大パニック。
計画停電も経験しました。
誰もが何かしなければと思ったあの日から一年。
日本が暖かく我慢強く豊かな国だと再認識した一年でもあります。
自分のことで精一杯で忙しいを言い訳に殆ど何もできなかった私ですが、
これから少しでも具体的なアクションを起こしていければと思います。
Pray for Japan.

被災地ではまだ仕事が無い人が溢れているとのこと。
今日も働けることに感謝します。
