With these Nike Air Max 2016 sample photos, the runner is built with an Engineered Mesh base that appears to sit atop the same sole. The body of the silhouette looks to have a shape to it that also includes a new embedding Flywire support and a Nike Swoosh on the toe area.
Details are a bit scarce this far out, of course, but the optics are certainly telling. The Nike Air Max 2017 sports a largely seamless upper, with a ridged mesh construction sort of similar to the LeBron 13s composition around the heel and forefoot giving way to breathable engineered mesh through the toe.
