Goumenasai, I know very little Japanese and I can only write in hiragana/katakana if I use iPhone or iPad, but it's mendokusai. If I post often it will be English with romaji until I can find Ameba iPad app. I learned to make Ameba because Google’s Internet browser can translate Japanese for me. I will use this Ameba so that my Japanese friends can talk to me and I can share experiences I have with Japanese people and culture.
First I will introduce myself:
My name is Matt Olsen. I am a university student at Eastern Washington University in America. I will finish my university studies this year. My major is journalism. I’m interested in writing about video games, because video games are my hobby. My dream job is to become video game journalist/blogger for a video game website or magazine. In Japan, maybe you know Famitsu? My dream job is similar to Famitsu but in America. I would write for Famitsu but I don’t know Japanese. If you have questions about my favorite video games, please ask me! Recently, I like to write about Japanese otaku culture, specifically AKB48. If you want to ask me questions about AKB48 I will gladly answer them.
At my university, I also work as an International Peer Advisor (IPA) who helps Japanese exchange students from Asia University who come to study at my school for 5 months. I enjoy meeting these Japanese students, because they are all interesting and they teach me many things.
