From 2006 until 2010 I taught full-time at an English language school in Setagaya, Tokyo. The morning work involved being the main teacher for a preschool class. My afternoon responsibilities were mainly elementary school kids coming to after-school lessons. I enjoyed both environments very much.

However from 2010 to the present day I chose to continue teaching the afternoon classes only, leaving my mornings free to teach in a variety of locations including a friend's kindergarten once a week and corporate business classes two or three times a week in central Tokyo.

From tomorrow though.... it's BACK TO MY REGULAR SCHOOL FULL-TIME!!カラオケ

I'm very excited (a little nervous, perhaps?) about returning to daily preschool responsibilities.
The class I've been assigned to has a total of 17 kids aged 3 to 5.
11 of these attend every day while 6 come once a week.

There was obvious sadness in leaving my previous morning work - especially my friend's kindergartenえーん.
But going back to preschool fulltime will provide many interesting classroom experiences to share with you here!!
I can already tell: THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE a BIG, BIG YEAR!! クラッカー

Wish me luck!チョキ
