Over the weekend I went to the Poconos with my family. We went boating and I did not put on sunblock. It was a terrible idea! Now I have really bad sunburn!
It really hurts!
We came home yesterday and the weather was bad yesterday.
It has been raining for the past couple of days. It is still really warm, so it is hot and sticky from the rain.
I got a new camera yesterday. I love it. It has a lot of different settings and modes and I get really nice pictures from it.
I am really sorry everybody! I have not updated my blog in a really long time. I have been sick lately and have not felt like doing much of anything. But I have a new entry for you all.
A couple nights ago, my sister, her friend, and I made some hash browns. They were really tasty! Here is a picture:
I know the picture does not look very good. I am not so good with the camera.
I grated the onions that are in the hash browns. That made the potatoes taste really good because the juices from the onions got in everything. It made it worth the hard work to grate them. Between worrying about hurting myself and the onion making my eyes water, it was very difficult to grate the onions. I also never would have thought that steak seasoning would taste so good on hash browns, but it is SO good!
I know, I started talking about food again! I have not been doing anything interesting lately, that is what I talk about.
I was dragged on a camping trip this past weekend.
We went somewhere by the shore. There was nothing to do there.
We went to visit a cranberry bog. It was in marshland and it smelled really bad!
I learned more than I ever cared to know about cranberries and blueberries.
Huh? Blueberries? Yes, Blueberries. They also grow blueberries there. Apparently New Jersey was the first place to grow cultivated blueberries.
Why were they growing blueberries on a cranberry farm? Who knows....... or cares.
