At age 17, Master Zachary had already performed in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and many other countries. Currently, he is an established master of Rainbow Art calligraphy and hand carved seals. Zachary was an apprentice to the founder of Rainbow Art, Master Man Kit Ip. Having strong interest in Chinese art and calligraphy at a young age, Zachary spent many summers learning from Master Ip, and continued his apprenticeship full time after graduation. Zachary learned to master a variety of calligraphy and seal techniques, particularly honing his skills in seal carving, traditional calligraphy and Rainbow Art writing. 🌸🌸 香港彩虹書法（元祖花文字）The Origins of Rainbow Art Calligraphy Rainbow Art was founded by Man Kit Ip. When he was young, Ip learned of an old calligraphy style from the Tang dynasty, called “Dragon and Phoenix Calligraphy”, was inspired by it. It was an art style that used drawings of dragons and phoenixes to illustrate Chinese characters. However, Ip wanted make Chinese characters more colorful, and considered adding flowers and fishes to the dragon and phoenix patterns, and changing from traditional black ink to color ink.
