"The Women"
I will write about "The Women" which is a movie shown in 2008.
It's a story about five women who live in New York.
Mary Haines lives in a beautiful house with her 11-year-old daughter, her husband and her maid.
Her husband Steven is a very famous financier and they live a very wealthy life.
Sylvie Fowler is Mary's best friend and she works for a prominent fashion magazine company as its editor-in-chief.
When Sylvie goes to a nail salon, she hears from the chatty manicurist Tanya that Steven is involved with a perfume salesgirl named Crystal Allen.
Sylvie confides what she heard to the ever-pregnant Edie Cohen; while Edie slips about it with her friend Alex Fisher but they all hesitate to tell Mary.
Mary discovers the news herself from Tanya in the nail salon.
She becomes panicky and tries to tell Steven about it but her mother Catherine encouraged her to keep quiet and to go away on a holiday.
Mary first accidentally confronts Crystal in a department store and she asks Steven for a divorce.
Sylvie, Edie, Alex and so on joined forces to support Mary but Sylvie also has a big problem.
Her problem is facing the loss of her job as the editor in chief of the fashion magazine.
Gossip columnist Bailey Smith tries to conspire with Sylvie by asking her to confirm Mary's marital woes in exchange of a celebrity profile Bailey is contributing to the magazine.
During that time, Mary's daughter's attitude becomes cold.
She sees that her daughter speaks her mind to Sylvie that is what she becomes confused.
This is a story about women who are determined to achieve something for their living in exchange of friendships.
It asks us, "what is the important thing in your life as a woman?"
There might be many trials in women's life like working, getting married, having a child and doing house work.
However, I think this gives more reason that women are beautiful and they shine.
Lastly, I also thing female friends are such important people to have to be abel to have some people to share with.
