二週間前にオーストラリアからのジェイコブ、今週フィンランドからのアレクスィは留学が終って帰国してしまったのです。僕より5ヶ月間早めに日本に来たので日本語教えてくれたり、留学生の助言してくれたり、色んな場所に連れて行ってくれたりしました！今日、最後の留学生仲間の旅をブログしたいと思います。
クリスマスのとき名古屋行ってきました。あの二人の好きなところは赤門です。面白い店がいっぱいあって綺麗なフクロウの絵（写真ご覧ください）を見つけて美味しい中華食べました！
冬のとき、栄にブルーライトアップがやってます。いい雰囲気じゃないですか！💙🏙️❄️
または名古屋クリスマスマーケットに行きました。ヨーロッパっぽくてドイツのマーケットと結構似ていますよ。Bratwurst（ブラットウルスト）ドイツのソーセージとかApfelpunch（アプフェルプンチュ）色んな香辛料入ってる温かいアップルジュースなど食べたり飲んだりしました。本当に美味しなったです。"めっちゃ懐かしい！"とフィンランドからのアレクスィが言いました。フィンランドの飲み物も伝統的らしいです。ぜひ来年マーケットでヨーロッパの国々のクリスマス食を口つけて下さい！🍏🎄🇩🇪
大須観音でハトに餌あげたとたん、一生懸命で食べようとして写真に見えるジェイコブ（オーストラリア）にほとんど傷つけたのですよ！やばかったです。
大須で散歩しながら海外食の店が見当たりました。僕はスイスのチョコで本当に喜びました。Lindor（リンドア）やKägi Frett（ケギフレット）という名前のブランドです。実はリンドアが日本のスーパーでもよく売れているのでぜひトライしてみてください。高いのにオススメいたします！

Two weeks ago Jacob from Australia left, and this week Aleksi from Finnland made his way back home. Those two, who were exchange students at my school, came to Japan in March. In August, when I came, they could show me around, teach me some Japanese and most importantly pass on some exchange student advice. Today's blog will be an appreciation post for the two of them.
They loving coming to Nagoya, so when we all came together before Christmas we first went to their favorite place: Akamon. There's a bunch of crazy shops: Anime, figures, games, used electronics & many things that don't seem to fit together, but also lots of food. Food, how special for a big city!? We had Chinese food in a small cozy restaurant where we were served by hard working grandmas and our food was supposedly cooked by (idk if hard working or not) granddads.
For all the readers who have been to Tokyo I guess you could say Akamon is the Akihabara of Nagoya.
Sakae shopping district has many international stores and beautiful blue lights. Note that they are not Christmas lights, because they are there all winter long for people like you to come & enjoy!
We also went to the Nagoya Christmas market. Even though it's done in European style I was surprised how authetic the German wood-worked crafts but also the Bratwurst-sausage and apple cider were. Of course there were countless cute tiny lights all over the market.
In Osu there are many tiny shops offering anything from second hand fashion to handicrafts. It's my favorite place go shop for clothing. There are also a number of temples and shrines. We went to Kannon temple where you could feed pidgeons. The moment Jacob got the food they went crazy trying to eat it out of his hands. When he threw the food on the ground they literally piled up on top of each other. (See photo above)
In Osu we also found a store with foreign foods. The last photo features me happy to hold a piece of Switzerland in my hands. But actually I found that they will often sell foreign sweets in bigger grocery stores in Japan.
If you are interested, take a look at these places on a map and you will find they are actually quite close, walking distance I'd say. Make sure you come to Nagoya if you happen to have the chance to visit the beautiful country that is Japan.
