This is a small, but good thing.
My son couldn't wake up every morning, but one day my wife and I got an idea.
We enjoy the TV program "0655" produced by Masahiko Sato and we thought our son will like it.
So we showed our son "0655." As we thought, he loved it and said he wanted to see it every morning.
Since then we tell him "0655 will start!", he wake up and go and see the program. We don't have to go to his room to wake him up several times now.
Mr. Sato is great!
We Japanese have the expression "Mikka Bozu." It means "a person of weak will" or "a person who can stick to nothing." I decided to write this blog in English (almost) everyday, but I couldn't write for four days. They might call me "a person of weak will," but it's okay.
I met Dr. Shin-Ichi Fukuoka who is the biologist and write many books about "dynamic equilibrium." According to "Oxford Dictionary of English", dynamic equilibrium is "a state of balance between continuing processes." This explanation is not enough, but I can't explain it well with my current understanding and English skill. I'm sorry.
Anyway, we asked Dr. Fukuoka about English study, especially reading. We're planning to publish the book to promote "reading foreign books in English" and interview him for that book. We asked him about the importance of "English," and he answered "English is "must" for science major students. It was the words that we want! Dr. Fukuoka spoke falteringly, but his words were like music for me.
I decided to study English thoughout my life and my current text is "President Obama's Inaugural Address."
I'm using the book called "オバマの英語 徹底トレーニングブック/柴田元幸 " and I've recited most of the address. Actually I made this book. If you want to memorize the Obama's address, I really recommend this book.
