What a coincidence!  (なんと偶然!)

30 years ago, both of my husband's sisters and I all became pregnant (妊娠)at the same time!  Our babies were all due (予定日の事)during the same winter.  They were all born in the same hospital.

Those 3 babies are grown now:

My husband and one of his sisters married people from other countries.  My husband married me (of course!), and his oldest sister married a lovely gentleman from Chad, a country in Africa.  My husband's other sister married a man from Oita.  So we had an International Baby Gang!

There are now 7 grown children in this Interanational Baby Gang--7 cousins.

Here is another photo that we took when 6 of the cousins were still children.

Two of my children are in this photo, my oldest daughter and my son.  I had one more daughter after this photo was taken. When she was born, all the other cousins were older children.  She was the last one born in our family of this generation.  Because of the large age gap, she was the idol of the family. ドキドキ

My nephew has a baby now, the first baby of the next generation.

Now my sister-in-law is a grandmother.

So the next generation has begun to arrive!  Yay!

I wrote an essay about this on another website.  It's for native speakers, so the level is high.  Please click the link below, and take a look at it if you like!
