お父さんの肩を摩ってみた。 I stroked my father's shoulder,
お父さんの手を握ってみた。 I held my father's left hand 
最近、急に痩せちゃったみたい。 He looks like he's lost his weight .
私も辛くなるけど、 I feel sad when I saw him,
お父さん自身が１番辛いよな。 and he is afraid of himiself the most...
でも、触れているとき、 He kept smilimg with nothing to say
お父さんは辛い顔じゃなかった。 during touching him.
ニコニコしていた。 He looked happy 
言葉を発することはなかったけれど、 There was no sad expression.
終始嬉しそうだった。
お父さんのココロもニコニコしてたみたい。 It seemed that his heart was smiling,
私のココロもニコニコ嬉しかったみたい。 and also my heart was smiling from beginning to end
