It was a pretty tough year for all of us.
I had set some vision of starting my job as a guide interpreter this year when the Tokyo Olympics would be held, but in reality, the Game was postponed, or possibly, for the worse, will be canceled. And I got less opportunity to work as so... But I have seen many guides turning this hard time into chance to learn and start something new. How positive and motivated they are!? I could see clear difference between them and me. I promise to work and study hard to boost my skills next year.
My another dream of becoming an ikebana instructor as well as an artist has been stepping forward despite this situation. I tried to make more time for creation, and for every work, I took more time for observation and consideration than before. Thanks to my coworkers, I joined some workshops of handmade vases. Also, had some lessons for foreigners all of which was very fun for me. I will make effort to think and create more, and to hold some workshops by myself.
Being a mom is not easy, but I think I did well, without any accident. And she did very well, in this unconfortable situation, too. Watching my girl growing day by day, I'm sure she'll be "my best friend" in near future.
Anyway, let the things go and have a good new year.
