Hi you friends of the written word
I hope you're all watching the news regulary
I consider this very important
However
Shinzo Abe is the new prime minister of Japan
I disagree with many of his plans and actions
like teaching "Patriotism" in school and making Japan a strong military nation
and he's beginning to disgust me with many of his sayings
Where I live, he could never work as a politician after denying things that happened during World War II.
He protects and defends the actions of Nazi-Japan and claims Japan did not take the wrong course, wether towards Korea or China or towards the japanese people
this is unacceptable
but sadly just one part of his problematic political nature
The interesting point in this for me is
that this is the typical behavior of a suffering nation
Countries that experience great loss, pain and economic problems
often tend to vote for the right wing instead of the left or the middle, and choose more radical politicians
Especially in painful situations a real united nation stands together
and wishes to express this patriotism und yearns for a feeling of safety. they search this in military forces
all in all they want their status quo to change
meaning that even if they were satisfied with their government just short times ago
and put great hope into their political leaders
very often connect their suffering and their leaders
Which is, of course, not completely unlogic
This behavior becomes a problem though
when the people vote their ministers out of office just for the sake of changing the status quo and not because they put more trust in the skills of another minister
This can rip a country apart
and will not change anything to the better
I do not exactly understand why people immediately wish to vote their leaders out as soon as things get difficult
Maybe some have still not understood that politics is more than telling people
"you go and do this and don't dare to fail"
I'm ready to learn about these issues
Let's hope there's something in Shinzo Abe that was worth voting for him who's going to put the nuclear power plants up again
Right now, I am worried
