The event is finally over and I miss it really much
A really generous event with free large toys,tokens and keychains
But it also encourages more fraudsters during the period the event was held..
The underlying issue will only be understood by those participating in that event.
Since it's already over,I don't have to repeat much on the past which is not really soothing when I remember it.
There's a new event going on in the claw shop 
The first day I saw this event last Sunday,the first impression which came to my mind,this event doesn't give away free stuffs anymore
Instead you have to buy lucky draw entries if you want to join 
This new event centres around the Caribbean pirate theme which you have to exchange money for tokens..among the tokens there'll be gold tokens
So you collect gold tokens to exchange a silver pendant which costs 2xxbucks
My analysis about this activity:
1.It's a deal,you have to use gold tokens to get the pendant..it's not cheap,6xgold for a silver pendant.Eg:you exchange 100tokens and there are 6x gold and 4x normal tokens,it means you left only 4x tokens to play and 6x tokens need to be exchanged for the silver pendant in order to get the lucky draw entry.
2.There's nothing special about the pendant.Not tailor made with your name on it or any special characters' faces.It's the company's logo which is made into a pendant and you have to buy it for 6x bucks? And that's only 1 entry costs 6x bucks..so if 10 entries cost 6xx bucks just for the same pendant with the company's logo?How many necks does a person have to wear 10 pendants?
3.Silver has small saleable value.If you really don't want the pendant,it's not as valuable as pure gold,you can't sell it high,and silver can oxidise over time,it's not really as stable as gold
4.Gender..
do all males love pendant? 
.even I'm a lady I also don't like to wear a pendant which is designed with the company's logo..it looks as if it's a free stuff,but indeed it's not
Yesterday was already the third day I'm not clawing anything from the crane shop,but I still drop by there every day to check out whether any great toys arrived,but sadly the answer is NO!
Yesterday there were some additions of new toys,but definitely not favoured by me.
Very small,dull looking plushies are not attracting my interest-since the scratch card event started,the plushs are getting smaller and yet are so pricey.
Today is Friday,the beginning of weekend..still thinking what am I going to get from the crane shop tomorrow..
Once again it's all about the crane shop,
regarding the event that I mentioned in my previous post.
OK so for now they purposely print limited amount of scratch cards for the first batch,this amount can only last up for a week.Then on Saturday they said their cards are out of stock and replace with an exchange coupon,which means you will keep the coupon until the second batch of scratch cards are ready,then claim the scratch cards using the coupon.
You can see their strategy,why they have time to print coupons instead of scratch cards,since this event will be going on for 2 months until January next year,they should have prepared more scratch cards in advance.
So we can determine their objective of making limited amount of scratch cards-
1.The coupon given is very small in size,so a proportion of customers will probably lost theirs and some are not returning customers so they will not come back and claim theirs.
2.The first batch of scratch cards acts as an experimental batch,they probably want to see how much costs they incurred and try to reduce costs in the coming batch,so in later batch,it's predicted the number of large plushs and tokens given out will be lesser,but many people won't know this strategy and keep exchanging their money for tokens with the hope of getting a large plush or more tokens from the scratch offs.
To round up everything I mentioned above,I can say that now they are not only cutting costs by putting smaller plushs in their machines,but they are now trying to attract more people with the scratch offs but somehow customers will realize later that the number of large plushs given out is going to be lesser than the first week.
The new activity organised in the new claw shop is not really an improvement if compared to the previously organised actitvities as well,after a week of observation.
Just like what I mentioned yesterday,making scratch offs to encourage people to exchange more money with the hope of increasing revenue doesn't work ideally.
1.The scratch off cards itself represents part of the costs to be incurred in this activity.
2.The prizes given ie;large and small plushs,free tokens altogether make up another sum,especially the expensive large plush which is given out too often.The event is only going on for a week,and there're already 17 winners of the large plushs,and this does not include those who haven't claimed theirs;which means these people already have the complete set of their cards,but waiting for better large plushs to exchange.
As a result,the quality of the plushs in machine decreases significantly,from large to small sizes and yet the limit is set high,just to compensate the ongoing activity.
What I'm trying to say,
A busines should focus on its core activity rather spending too much time organizing extra events when they can't do well in the major part of the business.
After all not every one will have the chance to win the large plush,so why influence the quality of plushs in the machine just to satify the minority that won the large plushs?
I don't know well whether these people see the picture in long run..but I can say that an event that influence the core part of a business is not a good one.

Last week it introduced a new game?
It's a scratch-and-win,where you can get cards to scratch if you exchange tokens from them.
Looks fun?
The cards consist of pictures and if you collect all the pictures you can exchange an XL size toy.
You will also be able to win tokens and small size plushs as well.
Advantages:
-Saves manpower compared to the previously organised lucky draw events
-Reduces resources such as buying glass cylinder to fill up the balls
-Saves more space to store the cylinders
-Encourage more people to exchange more tokens in order to satisfy their eagerness for the scratch cards
Disadvantages
-Hinders staff movement because they're afraid cards might go missing and they have to pay for it.
-Increases chances of customers taking extra cards than required if staffs don't perform second checks
-Rare occurence of one picture,other cards always repeat in sequence,those repeating cards cause wastage
-Gigantic plushs given out upon completion of full set of cards are too frequent and expensive,unnecessary costs incurred,quality and size of other plushs in the machine starts deteriorating
Solution?
You don't have to suggest to these people because they keep their ears closed and only act based on what they think is appropriate =.=

I was playing my favourite machine,the soft cushion,I'm trying to claw the LINE bear head..before I started I asked the staff whether is there any new stock for thie pattern as the one I was clawing was defective.They said NO I thought they were joking because every time when I asked for exchange if there's a defective product,they alswys said so,but after a few days they bring bags of new stocks..so I thought this time was same.When I was playing half way,they came and took the item out of the machine.I already used 22 bucks and they told me to opt for another plush..only doraemon and white LINE rabbit left..both also not preferred by me..if they already know from start the item was defective,then they should have removed it from start,not in the middle of the game..
Once again I have to waste my money without getting anything..this is not the first time weird things happen in this claw shop...zz

After so long,I'm writing again.
A has happened and I'm confused where should I start.
I'm not sure after those reports have been made to the NGO,did they approach the MD?
The crane shop introduced some minor changes,but not significant enough to show that they're ethical in their dealings.
Why am I saying this?
They don't test properly whether the claw strength is enough to lift the toy (for some machines)
A lot of faulty claws,odds still happen..sighh
What they really do was only to advise the staffs not to check the machines and provide benefits to some people or themselves..but I guess this wasn't the result of my complaint,because what I heard from one of the staff the complainant is another person,not me..
I guess what the NGO said was right,they ask me whether should I forward the case to the authorities,I told them just hold first,they need to be observed more thoroughly before I make the final decision.
Yesterday I played in that crane shop again and encountered an odd counting againThis is already the 6th time I encountered this situation since 3 weeks ago
And if I were to complain,they must mention it's luck matter..how come if players before me took plushs at minimum price and I must compensate themwhy must it be the next player to compensate in full for those who took those plushs at very cheap priceif they're planning to earn 100 bucks per plush and if 1 person took 2 plushs within 20 bucks,the next player is going to compensate 180 bucks+another 100bucks for that time its own so=280bucks
wth is this..the compensation should at least be spread out between the next number of playswhat am trying to say here is the 180 bucks should be spread out..which means if next payout supposed to be 100 bucks it should be around 120 bucks so in around 9 payouts you can already recover the amount losenot by asking solely 1 innocent player to pay back the 280 bucksthen they expect people to shut up when they encounter these odds

I'm enjoying my holidays until I forget to update my blog.
So today's story is about this crane game again.
Today I was trying to get a furry pikachu again.It's so large and cute.I was trying hard to get it before payout,from 1 buck to 10 bucks
to 20 bucks
to 30 bucksand suddenly reached payout at 35buckswtf I was planning to use skills to get it and got it by payout I was so dissatisfied with my terrible skills and tried again to pull it out before the next payout..and thank god the second one landed on top of another plush
so delighted,but still need to pull it out slowly,I was so worried that the bottom padding might shift position because there was some empty space surrounding it..so I tried my best to use the 50%strength claw to slowly pull it out and at last I made it with 10 bucks
So when I was on the way to ask for plastic bags,the staff asked me whether the 2 plushs were out together(which means one got stucked on top of the chute but I didn't press the drop button and took another one..because as long as the plush did not pass through the sensor you can still claw as many as you want at 1 buck each)so I explained every thing so clearly to this staff and there were so many spectators who saw the scenario that I took the second one by pulling it out..so this staff can't say anything
What I'm trying to say here is:if you suspect anything wrong,just go ahead and check your CCTV,don't try to talk with me using any harassing or accusation words as this will only prove to others that YOUR SHOP CAN'T EVEN AFFORD TO LOSE A TOYOther crane shops won't even become security guards checking whether customer took how many toys that pass through the sensor..I'm kind enough when everytime my plush got stuck on top of the chute I will just push it down because I know this shop CAN'T EVEN STAND TO LOSE A TOY.This round it's 2 times(1 payout,1 pullout)and the staff seems not satisfied because they can't afford to lose a toy before normal payoutsame goes to when I asked for plush exchange with the MD he promised and refused because they are so scared that their wealth will be punctured by doing some good deedsthen he keeps avoiding whenever he sees me now
