A particular film because it is an author film sold as a blockbuster under 17 years old. The plans are slow, working just like the light and the angle of approach not to mention the environments and the different places. This is the story of a character coming to embrace the madness of the world to make something of coloring red. The film is particularly good for his illness and is done in a rigorous way. Nothing has the area to be left to chance. But I do not find this film excellent. It fits like a very good anti-hero movie such as we rarely see today alongside super-hero movies breaking the box office. The success of this joker can be because it fits in a time when the forbidden becomes allowed -17Ans, but especially that compare to what can do Marvel or DC; tries a sneakier and cinematic approach. Finally it may be the only movie that shows the cinema that we could see people fan of superheroes. That says a lot about our time. Thank you.

I feel like Jared Leto wasnt into the Joker character like Ledger and Phoenix.
First Murray was the figure of authority, just like Thomas Wayne, deciding how the soul of Gotham would look like, what is good and evil. People like Arthur were jokers to them, but when Fleck turned the tables and took over the mind of the city, he became the new god, deciding what is right or wrong, funny or not. To him people like Bruce Wayne and Batman are jokers and the history repeats itself. I think that the movie is partly about that, the struggle between light and darkness, chaos and order, two things impossible to define and hence neither Murray nor Arthur Fleck or Bruce Wayne can ever know if they are right or wrong. It is a riddle without an answer. Pit without a bottom, that is why Joker laughs at the end. That is why he is so much different than his 'brother' Bruce. He embraces that there is no answer and ridicules those that cling to believes. I believe Bruce is (and will be) different not only from Joker but from Thomas or Murray as well. He does not fight for what he thinks is just. He is always fighting to become a symbol, lighthouse, a messiah for all those living in a senseless world, to keep them from falling into the same abyss that created Joker and then killed his parents. Because we will never know right from wrong, but we can save other's from falling into the cracks of those definitions, which turns them into monsters. I wonder if the film was about that.

I've seen this movie 8x, 4 in theaters, and i NEVER noticed that he pushes the button for the water to come out. CRAZY.
I love how hes real and straight up and hes himself.

I feel like that scene when he went on the murray franklin show was a distorted reality. he came out with so much style and he was so slick but throughout the whole movie he was socially awkward. he kissed that one lady and had all the confidence in the world which is something hes never had before that scene, maybe he glamorized that scene when in reality all he did was crack bad jokes and well you know...
