I got to see the costumes for the Miss Universe contestants today. I thought I'd post my favorites. :>








Totally biased towards USA and Mexico so naturally I had to include them.


I'm more than certain whoever's reading this probably wants to see Japan's so I'll post hers too so you won't have to waste time looking it up at the site. ^_^

I made some yummy Ambrosia fruit salad for yesterday's dessert. XD My own recipe of course. I'm not a huge fan of some of the tropical fruit that's traditionally used for this mix so I added what I liked.

I went from having all my fruit....


To chopping everything up..


Got my other ingredients all ready!

Already one of the containers is all eaten up. :)

On a more somber note, today would've been my Grandpa's 95th birthday. I still can't believe he and my Grandma are gone even though it's been over 4 years since my Grandma, and 3 years since my Grandpa passed on. My mother and I are going over to the cemetery when it's a little cooler to go leave some newer flowers and to make sure their graves are being well attended. Usually the staff at the cemetery are really lazy when it comes to their jobs and it seems like the grass around my Grandparents' graves is always dried up so a family member always has to go and water it themselves. T__T My Grandpa always told us never to leave his grave abandoned so my mother and I try to go and maintain it. But summertime is harsh here and we don't go as often during this season. -___-

I just got these really cute phone charms in the mail today. I ordered them from Japan since it's hard to find anything like these here in America. And if a store does sell them the charms would be very expensive. T____T Anyway I'm waiting for my new phone case to come in because I don't want to put such pretty charms on my phone when the case I have on it now is falling apart. :P
