That tropical storm didn't listen to me when I told it to go away. Now it's forecasted to come right at where I live and people are going nuts here. This storm really came out of nowhere because 2 days ago there was no mention of any storm out in the Gulf of Mexico and now we're under a Hurricane Watch and Tropical Storm Warning. It's crazy! I really am hoping the lights don't go out, or the cable, because I wanted to get up early tomorrow to watch this. :( I have not missed an episode of Alice Nine's Nico Nico program and I don't really want to miss this one because it'll be a special type with an audience.



I have to go buy some supplies like batteries, canned food, and water just in case. With Hurricane Alex and Tropical Storm Bonnie the lights luckily did not go out but we did have some leaking in the roof, which sucked. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

The clouds outside are starting to build up already and the eye of the storm isn't supposed to make it's complete landfall until later tonight or early tomorrow morning. I'm going to make a wild guess and say that school will most likely be cancelled tomorrow. With it having been a holiday weekend that'll mean the kids get a 4 day weekend instead of a 3 day. But they do have to make up the weather day. haha Anyway I got some stuff to do and I'll try take pics if I see something fly by my windows.

Mexico is under a tropical storm warning right now. The area this storm is supposed to make landfall is about 50 miles south of where I live. There's a slight chance this storm could end up coming this way, but the experts are not expecting it too. We are forecasted to have a lot of rain which is a BAD thing. Towards the end of June we got hit by a bad hurricane and there was so much flooding from the mountains in Mexico. That water had to be released into the Rio Grande and it caused so much flooding and damage to our side of the border. Even if the main part of this system hits Mexico the flood waters will still be released into the Rio Grande causing damage once again to our side of the border. I think that's complete BULLSHIT and if Mexico wasn't so corrupt and full of misers then their government would've built better drainage systems so this could be prevented. Instead people on both sides are getting flood damage caused to their homes. = But I digress a bit. I just hope nothing horrible happens again. I don't want to go through another bad storm again this year!

Oh well. Keeping Up With the Kardashians is on and I haven't seen this episode. It's also 11:00PM here so I need to get to bed soon. Bye bye!

My internet is back. I had some problems paying the bill and I didn't have cable for a week. I was DYING of boredom and I watched a lot of my DVDs and TV during. But anyway I have it back and I have so much catching up to do on websites. Yikes. I've been on the computer since 8:30 this morning and it's after 2pm now. This whole time I've been going back and forth researching some Halloween costume ideas and party favors, commenting on my friends' journals, playing Pigg, and other things. The most time consuming was definitely commenting on my friends' entries on LiveJournal. I have to read what I missed in their lives in the past week or else I'll feel like a bad friend.

On the subject of Halloween. I've decided this year that I wanted to dress up. I know, I know. It's not for weeks! I can't leave costume hunting until the last minute or else all the websites will be out of stock on the really good ones. One thing that bothers me is how the adult costumes for women are so slutty looking. I can't go taking my daughter around trick-or-treating in a costume that could get me thrown in jail for prostitution. Because of these stupid styles I think I might just come up with my own thing and just wing it from there. I dunno.

I got my copies of Senkou this week, too! I was really hoping I would get a Tora poster but I got Shou and Saga. My friend Fuaa got a Tora poster though and she really wanted Shou's, so we're trading. XD We're just like a bunch of teenagers sometimes! I had also gotten my Neo Genesis 47 the week before. So happy everything came in the mail. I love listening to the songs. ♥


AFI. Oh how I adore this band so so much. In a previous entry I had posted a song of theirs and I'm in the mood to post another one! Davey Havok's voice is so beautiful.
