I love this time of year! Everywhere I drive or walk by I see houses decorated for Halloween. The inside of my house has big spiders, bats, pumpkins, and all that sort. But enough about my relatives.. ('-^*)/
While searching for a song to make into my Halloween ringtone I realized that there's so many good ones out there! The 1970s released a bunch of movies that are still popular to this day and there are one or two I admit that I will not watch by myself.
The music alone from The Omen scares the living daylights out of me. Just listen to it!
And I did the mistake of watching it the first time when I was 10 at night and alone. Probably that's why I still can't watch it by myself to this day. haha Also, since the song is in Latin I really don't know what the hell they're singing about. I could be listening to people summoning up demons or some weird jack. NO THANKS.
I can't decide between these themes:
Halloween
This movie I LOVE SO MUCH. It's a tradition for me to watch it every October at least once. It's so low budget but really those are those type of horror movies to me. To me, it's almost as if they knew there wasn't a lot of money to go around in making this flick so the director tried extra hard to make this a really good movie. I haven't seen the millions of sequels to Halloween, I prefer the original.
The Funeral March of a Marionette. I think this might be more suitable to have since I work around kids sometimes and don't want them to wet their pants when my phone starts to ring, no? Alfred Hitchock, THE MASTER OF SUSPENSE, used this as his theme song 40-50 years ago when he had his own TV program. Those of you who aren't sure of who he is, he's the one that made the classic flicks Psycho, The Birds, and so on.
The Exocrist Theme. I'm debating whether to use this one, too. :P This movie is not in the least bit scary to me. To others this movie ranks as the scariest movie of all time. I just didn't see it that way! One has to admit how the music is spooky. v(^-^)v
Can't forget this classic. See, I'm having so much trouble picking one!
And before I go I want to share a clip from my favorite Halloween special.
There I go again getting carried away posting YouTube videos. :P

Judd Apatow, who made The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, created the series and the characters. One of the greatest things about this show is how everyone can relate to a character from the show. And the music, omg. I have been looking up the soundtrack from this series because I'd forgotten how great music from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s was. I gotta add how much I think James Francho and Jason Segel are such babes in the show, too.
