Thai Beef Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb halal sirloin or flank steak

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp minced ginger

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Mixed greens

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Cucumber slices

  • Red onion

  • Fresh mint and cilantro

Dressing:

  • 3 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 minced garlic clove

  • Chili flakes

Instructions:

  1. Marinate beef with soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, ginger, honey, and olive oil for 30 minutes.

  2. Grill or sear the steak for 4 to 6 minutes per side, rest, then slice thinly.

  3. Add greens, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, mint, and cilantro to a bowl.

  4. Whisk dressing ingredients together.

  5. Add beef on top, drizzle dressing, toss lightly, and serve fresh.
