2014IKEDAcollection×multiplay

2014年11月23・24日に行われた、いけだまつり＠伊居太神社でのパフォーマンスです。

【池田市織姫伝承】
約1,500年前、呉織（くれはとり）と穴織（あやはとり）という織姫が、池田にある唐船が淵（とうせんがふち）と伝えられているところにたどり着き、織物の技術を広く伝えたといいます。

池田には他にも、糸を染めるために使った染殿井（そめどのい）や、染めた糸をかけて干した絹掛松（きぬかけのまつ）、呉織（くれはとり）と穴織（あやはとり）が夜遅くまで機を織っていると、天から星が降ってきて殿舎を真昼のように照らしたので作業がはかどったという星の宮など、機織物に関する伝承地やお話が残っています。

大地と繋がり、はたをおる織姫。織り出され、大地から空へ向かい美しく舞う布。舞い降りた布が着地するのは2体のカラダ。布をまとったカラダは創造の歓喜に包まれて、華やかに現代を謳歌する。
そんなお話のはじまり、はじまり…。

In the city of Ikeda Osaka, there is folklore of two weaving princesses. It is said that approximately 1,500 years ago, weaving skills and methods were spread in the region by Princess Kurehatori and Princess Ayahatori after their arrival in Tousengafuchi. Several related tales are still been passed on to younger generations and a few sight spots from the tails also exist in the city. One of the spots is a well called Somedonoi,which is said to be used to draw water to dye the woven material. Another spot is a pine tree called Kinukakematsuwhich is said to be used to dry such dyed material. There is also a palace called Hoshinomiya. The palace represents a workshopfor the two princesses, where the starts came down from the sky to shine on them like a day light while they work until late at night.
The beautiful fabric woven by the princesses waves up in the wind to the sky. Touched by the fabric descended from the sky, a pair of bodies starts dancing wrapped with joy. And the story continues….
