Through my observation from commercial ice machine manufacturers, there are eight points for we to pay attention when using ice making machine.
First: ice machine should be installed away from heat, no direct sunlight and well-ventilated area. It is better for ice machine under 35 degrees Celsius, which could prevent poor condenser cooling led by excessive ambient temperature, and effect making ice. Installation of solid ice machine on the ground should be smooth, commercial ice making machine must be level, otherwise when it is run off the ice, it will make some noise.
Second: ice machine back side and left side’s clearance should over 30cm, the top clearance should not less than 60cm, ice machines should use a separate power, power with a dedicated fuse and leakage protection switch, but also to be grounded.
0Third: ice machine should meet the national drinking water standards, and install water filtration devices which can filter water impurities, so as to prevent blockage of ice machine water pipes, gutters and contaminated ice machine ice mold and affect ice making’s performance.
Fourth: Handle carefully when transporting ice machine and prevent severe vibration. When handling ice machine, keep slope less than 45 degrees. Because of the long-distance transport, ice machines should not on working until two to six hours after.
Fifth: when cleaning, please turn off the power. No directly washing the machine with a hose. Use the application of neutral detergent scrub, acidic, alkaline and other corrosive solvents to clean the ice machine is strictly prohibited.
Sixth: ice machine must be moved into the two-month rotating head water hose, washing the filter inlet valve to prevent water and sand and mud clogging impurities ice maker inlet, which would cause water quantity small and lead to ice striking.
Seventh: condenser surface must be cleaned of dust every two months. Because poor condensing heat will damage ice machine component. When cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner, a small brush to clean the condensing surface, such as oil dust, you cannot use sharp metal tools to clean, so as not to damage the ice machine condenser.
Eighth: plumbing, sink, refrigerator and storage protection film ice machine should be cleaned once every two months. When it is not used, please clean and dry with a hair dryer and mold inside the ice water. Put the sea water condenser on non-corrosive gases and dry and ventilated place, avoid storage outside.
