皆さん、こんにちは
今回の記事は、グリーンカードの面接でどのようなことを聞かれたのかを記載したいと思います。
７月９日に無事に面接が完了し、翌日の10日にはUSCISのサイトから許可が降りたと通知が来ました
許可が降りるまで数週間かかるのかな？と思っていたのですが、意外とすぐに許可が降りてびっくり
今は許可証(Notification)とグリーンカードが自宅に届くのを待っています。
実際に面接に持参したものが下記になります
（全ての書類は原本とコピーを持参するように指示がありました）
・USCISからの面接通知書
・私と主人のパスポート（パスポートのページとK1ビザのページのコピー）
・I-94のコピー（アメリカへの出入国記録）
・私の古いパスポート（パスポートページのコピー）
・私と主人の出生証明書（お互いアメリカ以外の国で生まれたので翻訳も持参）
・私の労働許可証(EAD)と労働許可証の通知書(I-797 Notice of Action)
・婚約者ビザ(I-129F)の許可証(I-797 Notice of Action)
・結婚証明書(Marriage Certificate)
・同じ住所に住んでいることを証明するための書類（Utility billとJoint Bank accountのコピー）
・私たちの関係性を示す写真（アメリカに来てからの写真をPDFにまとめてカラーコピー）
実際に用意した書類の中で、面接官に見せたのは下記の３つだけでした

後は、面接が始まる前にIDを見せて欲しいと言われたので、運転免許証を見せました。
面接官によって見せる書類は違うと思うのですが、Tax returnの書類も持参すればよかったなと
理由としては、Utility BillとJoint bank accountの書類を見せた後に、”Tax returnは一緒にしたのか？”と質問され、”一緒にした”と答えると、”Tax returnのコピーはあるか？”と聞かれたからです
私たちはUtility billとJoint bank accountだけで十分だと思っていたのでTax returnの書類は持ってきていませんでした。
面接官が優しい人だったので、"It's okay, no worries."とだけ言われてホッとしました
面接が始まる前に”弁護士はいるか？”と"通訳は必要か？”との質問をされました。
面接時間は約1時間くらいで、聞かれた質問を覚えている範囲で記載しました
主人への質問
・What is your name
・What is your date of birth
・Have you ever used any other names
・Where did you guys first meet
・How long have you guys been together before getting married
・When is your marriage date
・When was the last time did you see her mother(mother in-law)
・Do you talk to her(mother in-law) often
・Is this your first marriage
・Do you have any children
私への質問
・What is your name
・What is your date of birth
・Have you ever used any other names
・What is your mother's name
・What is your mother's date of birth
・What is your dad's name
・What is your dad's name
・What is your spouse's full name
・What is your current address
・Since when did you live in this address
・What is your address before this address
・When was the last time you entered USA
・Have you left USA after that date
・What is your marital status
・Are you currently employed
・Where do you work and what is your title
・When did you start working there
・Do you have any children
・Is this your first marriage
・What is your plan for next 2 years
・Did you trip to somewhere in USA
この質問の後に、グリーンカードの書類にもある”犯罪を犯したことはありますか？”等のYes/No questionを再度聞かれて、答えました。
私たち両方への質問
・Who pays the rent
・How did you meet your spouse
・Do you plan to have any children in the future
主人の両親の名前や家族構成については特に質問されなかったので少し驚きました。
あと、自分の母親の生年月日を聞かれ、昭和○○年でしか覚えていなかったので、"I'm sorry, I don't remember the year."と答えると、特に問題なかったです
面接が終了して、面接官に”We are going to do final review and let you know if we accept it or not."と言われました。
色々なウェブサイトを確認すると、その場で面接終了後に許可が降りる人もいるようです
