今日、2010年12月8日で、元ビートルズのジョン・レノンさんが亡くなって、30年になるそうです。
30年経った今でも、生前彼が書いた愛と平和を訴える作品が世界中の人達に愛され続けています。
その理由として、未だ世界に戦争やテロなどが存在し、私達人間の尊い命が日々奪われつつある悲しい現状が挙げられるのではないかと私は思います。
そして、彼の歌を愛する誰もが、平和を願う人間だと思います。
彼が作った歌のように、一日でも早く世界が平和で一つになりますように…。

But there's still wars in the world and lots of precious human lives are lost...
Then why his song, "Imagine", is still famous, and why we sing "Happy Christmas" in this season.
It's of course becouse every one of us always hopes "peace".
