YUMI, a band based in Liverpool England have formed and could take the title to be the UKs first official V-Kei band.
The Members of the band Include,
Chisa Foxx on Vocals ,Tom on Lead Guitar ,Holli on Bass and Dajn on Rhythm Guitar. All members of the band are from England and the Liverpool area apart from Chisa who is from Brasil. 
This is a Picture of the band , posted onto The bands Instagram and Twitter page , of them working on the EP "Eternal Nightmares" that is set to release 01.01.2022 (DD/MM/YYYY) as of this date, this could change as COVID restrictions in the UK could cause delays and problems.
The band formed Earlier this year by Frontman Chisa Foxx and Lead Guitarist Tom, I asked YUMI about the formation of the band and this is what they said.
"The band formed when Tom messaged me and asked If I wanted to start a band with him, I said sure and we then brought Holli (Tom's Girlfriend) into the band, it was Me on Rhythm Guitar and Vocals, Tom on Lead Guitar and Holli on Bass. I met Dajn in college, and I asked him to be our Rhythm guitarist and he said yes" - Chisa
Its also important to note that YUMI aren't exclusively Visual Kei for many reasons. The biggest reason being Visual Kei doesn't have as much attention in the UK as it does in South America and Japan. The band have stated that they fall under the Genres Emo, Metal, Punk and Visual Kei, The fact that they even want to be Visual Kei is amazing in a country that doesn't have any Visual Kei bands, This could possibly open the world of Visual Kei to the UK and to Europe and could help grow Visual Kei into a bigger genre. Of course I have done my research and googled "UK Visual Kei Bands" , "Visual Kei bands in England" and could only find failed projects of people trying to start Visual Kei bands but falling apart before even having the chance to properly form due to lack of members and or attention. I strongly believe YUMI will be able to bring the Visual Kei genre to Europe and do something revolutionary within the V-Kei genre.
I asked the members of YUMI questions to get a better understanding of who the band is and what we can expect from them in the future.

Hey! My names Holli and I am the Bassist of YUMI!
Q: Who inspired you to be a bassist?
A: "I don’t really have a specific person who inspired me to play bass, however hearing songs with intricate bass lines was very interesting to me and I wanted to give it a go. I ended up loving it!"
Q: What is your favourite band?
A: "My favourite bands would be Green Day and Sundara Karma"
Q: What is one country you would love to visit?
A: "I would love to visit Japan but also I would love to visit France to see the Eiffel Tower one day!"
Q: Where are you personally from?
A: "I was born and currently living in England and i’m planning on staying here for a while; I would love to travel the world at some point though!"

Q: Who inspired you to be a Guitarist?
A: "I think a big inspiration for me is Kurt Cobain, Dave Groul also James and Kirk from Metallica"
Q: what is the funniest and/or scariest thing that has ever happened to you?
A: "I don’t really have a fun or scary thing that sticks out.."
Q: What instrument would you like to learn next?
A: "I would absolutely love to learn drums !!"

Q: Who inspired you to be a Singer?
A: "Hmm this is a hard one, I’ve always wanted to be a V-Kei singer / entertainer, I took up Content Creation on YouTube and Twitch and that’s going fine , but for singing I feel my biggest inspiration would be CHISA from ACME , Mostly because we share a name and His vocals are amazing, but when I think about it It should be Mao from SID since they’re the band that got me into Visual Kei!"
Q: if you had one day left to live what food would you eat for your last meal?
A: "f I had 1 day left to live I would probably eat Chicken pasta as my last meal since it’s the only thing I actually know how to make properly, Chicken breast pieces , Shell Pasta with cheese and pasta sauce , yep that’s the go to meal!"
Q: what do you enjoy most about music?
A: "I enjoy the feeling Music gives people and how 1 song could change anything about a person"
Q: Where are you from , personally?
A: "I am from Brasil , I was raised In Manaus, Amazonas but moved to Liverpool when I was 7/8 for Education and my mother also found a teaching job here so it just worked out... I don’t like it too much if I’m being honest, I want to live in Harajuku, that’s my end goal.."

Q. Who inspired you to be a Guitarist?
A: "The reason I started guitar was actually because my friend mentioned to me about our school starting to give guitar lessons, so we went together"
Q: If you could only play 1 song on guitar for the rest of your life, what would It be?
A: "I am not too sure... Forever is a long time, Maybe fly me to the moon? or The Promised Neverland."
Q: What is your favourite animal?
A: "Oh wolves! 100% I love wolves!"
