Visualizza questo post su Instagram Thank you very much for the ton of messages that I have not been able to reply but that have warmed my heart and encouraged me. Eventually I found out what caused my health problems. It seemed impossible to never fully heal despite the strict diet, all the sport and my almost perfect lifestyle. There was something no doctor had ever seen in me! It was well hidden... I went to the emergency room after many days when I felt worse and worse, pain everywhere, loss of appetite, constant nausea and stomach pain and bloating. Symptoms that I have always experienced but that seemed to make me no longer sleep at night. I came to the emergency room in a wheelchair since I was no longer able to walk, I was sent back home after 6 hours in which they found nothing. The blood works came out perfect, I had no fever, normal ultrasound and the word fibromyalgia in these cases always seems to be the solution to everything. I had fibromyalgia so, what else!? #Fibromyalgia seems to explain everything right?! I was no longer able to walk and I was exhausted and in so much pain, so I took an appointment with an ultrasound specialist. This doctor saw nothing with his ultrasound, except that I was clearly in a dramatic condition. He invited me to go back to the hospital where he himself did an abdominal CT scan. That night I discovered that I had been in septicemia for a long long time and that instead of the appendix I had a large infected and perforated tumor mass that was hiding behind the colon, reaching the liver and pouring pus and mucus all over the abdomen. I had been slowly dying for many years without knowing it. It is a rare form of #appendix with which one is born, called ascending retrocecal subhepatic appendix. It had been inflamed for many years but with a healthy lifestyle and a strong immune system I was able to keep it under control, without knowing it. I underwent emergency #surgery! I feel so lucky to be still alive! I never believed those who told me it was all in my head! I have always been an happy and optimistic person! Now, I can't wait to really live my life for the first time! Un post condiviso da Low FODMAP recipes (@lowfodmap.food) in data: 20 Jun 2020 alle ore 2:11am PDT
