So here it is, let's go!ロケット
さあーはじめよー

Not going to tell you a lot about me. You have to find that stuff out for yourself. But here will be things that I have been doing and find interesting and want to share. Sometimes I may post in Japanese but mostly I think it will be in English. Hey I've spent a hell of a lot longer speaking English than Japanese so it is easier for me this way. Still I'll try and mix it up sometimes. Hope you enjoy my adventures...グッド!

Yesterday I finally saw my friends band B3.ニコニコ
They are a cover band that play Green Day songs as well as some other artists songs. Their show was a lot of fun and I was happy I could finally make it to see them play. They have so much energy on stage. I was glad I could go there with one of my good friends I don't see often enough tooかお

My friend would often get the crowd involved in his set often mimicking Billie Joe from Green Day by chanting Hey-Oh!

They started off their set with an intro from The Ramones - Rock 'n' Roll Radio. This is exactly what Green Day do live too! I was also really happy to hear them play The Living End's - Roll On even if sometimes the words seemed a bit fumbled through.

The other bands I saw were a Rancid cover band and a Dropkick Murphy's cover band. Both of these groups were pretty similar to seeing the real thing and it was easy to enjoy their setsパンチ!

I went out to Kushiya in Shinjuku before the show and ate too much!! It is a fun restaurant where you get to cook things for yourself and eat as much as you want. This photo is pretty early on as we haven't eaten much yet.

As I had eaten too much for dinner I was not very active in the crowd at the concert. おなかがいっぱい!

It was a fun event and a great night. B3's bassist was a girl which was good to see. I really liked her bass though a white Fender Jazz Bass. I didn't get to ask her but I think it might have been the American Jazz model. Definitely a nice bass and similar to the one I want to get.

Little experiences like this make daily life in Japan much more welcoming and feel less foreign. にひひ I am appreciative of the friends I have made and kept here in Japan. Still no one in Japan is as cool as my wife!

Tonight I'll go watch Children Collide from Melbourne at Harajuku Astrohall! You should come too!

I'll write about that one tomorrow. More photos of course each time too!
