♪ごま鴨汁うどん～ Sesame soup duck udon♪

ランチに久兵衛屋に行って来た

オーダーしたのは今お店が押してる鴨汁うどんシリーズの

ごま鴨汁うどん定食(小盛)

でもオーダーの聞き間違えでうどんしか来なかった

まぁまたオーダーしたからイイけど写真が

ｹﾄﾞやっぱうどんを小盛にしてもご飯と天ぷらがあると多いね

っで味はおいしかったけど汁しょっぱい

ごまの印象あんまりなかったかな

ネギも多すぎと思ったけどコレは私が若干ネギ苦手だから

天ぷらは超おいしかったよ

ハル。

Sesame soup duck udon set

Went out for lunch to this udon restaurant called

Kyubeiya (久兵衛屋)

The restaurant was promoting duck soup noodles, so I thought I'd go for the

Sesame duck soup udon set (small)

Unfortunately the waiter misheard my order and I got just a small plate of noodles and not the set

I reordered so it wasn't a problem but photographically I would have preferred everything together lols

So basically my set menu was:

sesame sauce duck udon

tempura (lotus, pumpkin, aubergine, okra)

rice (small)

pickles

for 882yen

Even though I ordered a small plate of udon, having rice and tempura with it was a bit too much

Anyways the taste

the tempura was great

the crispy kind and not the soggy kind, but the soup was way too salty and frankly too oily

I felt it had too much leeks in it as well but that's probably coz I don't lie them much

it seems there are loads of Kyubei Udon Restaurants in Saitama but only 4 in Tokyo

If your looking for a nice udon restaurant in Tokyo then try going to

Tsurutontan (つるとんたん)

there's one in the Kabukicho district of Shinjuku

Although slightly more expensive than other udon places, they have a more interesting menu. I usually go for the

Mentaiko cream udon

or the

Stewed beef curry udon
