The Bard Fort has much more to see than the Mirò exhibition - the Alps Museum is fascinating IMHO, but the whole thing is beautiful in itself, and also the village of Bard is very pleasant (try to visit on a weekday though).

Also, just beside the road at Donnas (midway between Pont and Bard) you can see a stretch (about 200 meter long) of beautifully restored Roman road -- you might want to hop off the bus and take the next one on to ard (or walk to the fort from there in about 20 minutes).
