先月、お友達へのプレゼントに龍の折り紙を作りました。前回アップしたスーパー水龍はもう作れない・・・というか、作る時間と気力が・・・と、いうことでスーパー水龍とはほど遠いですが、双子水龍にしてみました。.
縁起の良いように双子の龍が８の字を描いています。またこの８は無限マークにも見えるように（の、つもりで）作りました。実際にプレゼントしたものは龍の８の真ん中部分に白い龍の宝玉（直径５センチほどのくす玉）を取り付けました。あ、もちろんモールで髭も付けました。完成したものの写真を撮るのを忘れてしまいました。
ブロックの数は約２５００ぐらい・・・（途中で足したりして正確な数がわからない）
とっても喜んでいただきました！喜んでもらえると、また頑張って作ろう！という気になりますね。
現在、家の猫たちがお世話になったレスキューの方たちに頼まれてチャリティーオークション用に猫を作る予定。そのためのブロックを必死に折っています。ブロック折り紙で何が辛いって、このブロック作りですね。時間待ちしている時など時間を潰すのには最適だし、何も考えないで出来るのでリラックス効果、指を動かすので脳の老化防止など良い効果はありますが、単調な作業なので何千個作るとなると飽きてきます。ブロック折り紙をされる皆さんは何か工夫されていますか？
一旦予定数折ってしまうと、組み立て工程に入れるので楽しいんですけど。猫は家のShadowとTigerをモチーフにしようと思っています。出来上がったアップしたいと思います。
I made these dragons as a present for our good friends. I just don't have enough time and energy to make something like the dragon I've uploaded previously. So, I've decided to make twin water dragons
Number 8 is a luck number in Chinese and Japanese culture, so I shaped the dragons like a figure eight. Also I was hoping to make it look like an infinity loop as well. The actual dragons I gave to my friends had a dragon ball right in the middle of figure 8. The ball was about 5cm in diameter, and I made it with the while flower kusudama. Oh, I also added the mustache (?), but I forgot to take pictures of completed dragons... 
The number of modules used was probably about 2500... (I added here and there, so don't know the exact number.)
Our friends were ecstatic when they saw the dragons. It makes me feel good and motivates me for more origamis when I see how people appreciate them.
I am currently planning to make cat origamis to put up for an aution for the shelter's fundraising. I think the hardest part of 3D origami is to make modules. It is a good thing to do to kill time, feel relaxed, prevent old age "you-know-what," but it is such a simple task that I get bored when making thousands and thousands of them... Those 3D origami fanatics, what do you do to prevent from getting bored?
Once I fold the sufficient amount, my favourite part - putting it together and shaping it. 
I think I'm going to make our kitties, Shadow and Tiger, so I will upload some pics once I made them.
