Is adopting orphans from other countries a good thing?
I believe adopting orphans from other countries is a good thing because of two reasons.
One reason is that adopting orphans from any country is a humanitarian thing to do. Sadly there are children who don’t get to know their parents. Being raised in a warm family environment nurtured the personality and bring the child up to be a responsible adult who can contribute to the goodness of a society.
The second reason is that if an orphan is raised in a different country than their place of birth, that child has a potential to become a bridge of two countries or even more.I have read about a story of Chinese orphan being raised in the states, who later became interested in the country of her birth and became a translator connecting two countries.
Amid growing internationalization of the country, raising international Human Resources is a good thing.
That is why I believe adopting orphans from other countries is a good thing to do.
