TWO CATS, a girl, and an an izakaya
The past few days I have been spending a lot of time at home. Haven't been going to the gym, didn't go to my piano lesson or zumba class. And definitely haven't been going out after work for food or drinks. All because of this stupid cough I have at the moment. I don't know if it's from a cold or from the famous "Yellow Sand" that blows through here every year from the Gobi, but whatever it's from, it's not much fun.
But!! The great thing about spending so much time at home is the amount of time I have been able to spend with my cats, Beni and Shinnosuke.
I know I put a lot of pictures on here of them but I realise I haven't really said much about them (after all, they are the two cats in the title!). Soooooooo, let me start with Beni!
Name : Beni (also known as Benben, Benezuela, Bennifer, or any other name that takes my fancy at the time!)
Age : The photo above is Beni when she first came to live with me in August 2009. I believe she was about 3 months at the time so I guess she's about one and a half now. Wow! Time flies!
Place of birth : No idea but she was found outside Hok behind Yonago station so I will presume she was born somewhere around there.
Personality : 1.Friendly - with anyone and everyone, be they human, feline or inanimate objects! When the doorbell rings Beni rushes to the door to see who's there.
2.Mothering - as soon as Shinnosuke arrived Beni stopped her childish ways and became foster mum to him. She cleans him, watches everything he does, and even scolds him on occasion! She still, however, has moments of wanting to cuddle up to me and be like when she was little again. Doesn't last very long though!
Likes : 1.Mouse toys - she could play with her little mice toys for hours as long as you keep throwing them for her to retrieve (yes, I think she thinks she's a dog...)
2.Chikuwa - plays with and eats. Not sure which she prefers....
3.Sleeping in high places or behind my back on the bed.
Dislikes : 1.Pretty much any food I give her - I have only found about 2 kinds of canned food and dry food that she likes. Everything else gets left in the bowl until she gets desperate enough or I give in.
2.Being touched on the face especially around the nose.
3.Trips to the vet - she was good for the first one or two and then realised that it wasn't a nice day out with Lisa in the carrier....and that the vet tends to touch your face a lot!
4.Baths - total freak out! Enough said.
Beni is the first cat I have ever taken care of as my own and thus has a special place in my heart. I love her soft, soft fur; the way she goes cross-eyed sometimes; and the fact that she welcomed Shin into the house without even a hiss or a cry.
(I intended to write about Shinnosuke tonight too but I think he will have to wait til next time.....perhaps tomorrow.....cough, cough, aaaaagh!!)

Another Saturday Night
昨日、大好きなキヌエが働くってことを知って、TEEDAに行ってきました
しばらくいたらたくさんの友達と偶然に出会って、みんなでHooに行ってからHasta latinaのイベントに行っちゃいました。 でもしばらくいたらキヌエとまた会いたくなってTEEDAに戻り、今回違うみんなと出会った
笑った、泣いた、飲んだ、寝た！それで午前８時に帰った
楽しい夜を、みんな、ありがとう
また出会うのに楽しみにしてる！

とりあえずもっと寝なきゃ。 それで元気になって、いろいろすることがある。
１．クリスマスカードと年賀状のための写真を撮らないといけない。紅と慎之助、お願いだから、写真を撮る時に同時にいい顔して！
２．来年チューリップマラソンに初めて参加したいと思うから、トレーニングを始まらないと出ても５００ｍでギブアップするかも！
３．またhome partyを近い内にやりたいから、家の掃除
もうやばい........それしか言えない。
あとは元気になって焼き肉食べたい！４．にしてないの理由は、焼き肉はいつも食べたいから！一年間ぐらい食べてないな～。焼き肉に冷たいビール
