Beauty of Uniqueness
Thank you, God for seasons we have here! When my honey and I were in Hawaii, we always enjoyed the great weather, which flowers are always in bloom, but we didn't have the sense of the seasons. One time I was talking with my friend and thought how sad we don't have a variety of the different seasons there. She and I were trying to remember when was the last time we went to a Sushi shop together. In Japan we usually can recall the memory by what we were wearing; wearing a heavy coat or being lightly dressed, what was the weather like; cold winter day or early summer, and so on.
Anyway, I enjoy different seasons, especially by unique seasonal sceneries each season.
Japanese maple leaves are very popular in Japan. People go to view scarlet maple leaves in this season. Taking pictures, I thought of the harmony of the colors. If the color is the only one deep red, nobody might not stop his or her feet to look up the tree. All different and unique colors make the breathtaking scenery. Many Japanese are not comfortable to be different. Some of them even feel bad their uniqueness due to their peer pressuer or bullying. It's okay! God made you unique and loves you. You are very precious in His eye.
A small summer in an autumn day
My mom I and took a long walk to a neighboring city, Minou, where is very popular for autmnal leaves. The season of the Japanese maple is almost there, but not quite yet. After the nice long walk, I found a haibiscus was in bloom at my balcony.
Recently it was cold like winter, but I found a small Hawaii here!
