Today is August 16th, so we held a waterfall activity as usual as on the day with 6.
To our joy, we met there two foreigners living in Japan.
One of them is a Pakistani living in Japan for 35 years and he can speak Japanese so fluentry.
The other is from Italy living in Japan for 2 years. He said he is studying Japanese and English now.
Because we make a habit of taking about impressions each other after standing waterfall, we started it as usual.
When the Italian had a turn talking, he said first of all "日本語むずかしい" in Japanese.
However, he continued in Japanese. "I'll try it."
I was moved.
I've seen a lot of people from overseas speaking Japanese among the Japanese.
Some spoke fluently, and some spoke not.
Every time when I see it, I always respect them.
However, I've never put myself in their shoes.
If I'm in America and all the people around me are the American, I can't try to speak even a single word.
I know it's kind of too late to realize, but sometimes I should give it my best shot to talk what I think in English with only what I know now.
