ちなみに・・・
『参議院選挙』は、
英語で Upper House (House of Councilors) elections
そして、 『衆議院選挙』は、
Lower House (House of Representatives) elections です。
みなさんは、参院選に行かれますか？

私は今週末には県外にいるため、期日前投票してきました。
I'll be away this weekend, so I've voted early.
先日、中学生のレッスンで読んでいた教科書に
マハトマ・ガンジーのこんな言葉がありました。
I found a quote by Mahatma Gandhi
when reading a tetbook for junior high.
『世の中に変化を期待するならば、
まずあなた自身が変わらなければいけない』
"If you wish to see a change in the world,
you must change yourself first."
タイムリーな言葉だな～と思って読んでました。
I thought this quote was timely.
選挙は身近な変化のチャンスだと思います。
This election is one of opportunities for change closely related to us.
