Table for two are initiating their operation in the UK. This is a first official event to introduce their activities in the UK . TFT UK would also offer the internship and volunteer opportunities to those who are interested.
About TFT:
Dedicated to redressing the global imbalance in food TFT’s aim is to tackle the twin nutritional issues of obesity and starvation to benefit suffering on both ends of the nutrition spectrum. The business model is simple but highly effective: TFT provide healthy, low calorie meals in the developed world through business canteens, universities, schools and restaurant chains fighting the obesity epidemic that affects over a billion people worldwide; 25p from each TFT meal goes to buy a meal for a starving school child in the developed world, transferring the excess calories to impoverished and undernourished children in the developed world.

Table for Two was founded by Mr. Masa Kogure, ex-McKinsey consultant, who was named an “Asian Social Entrepreneurs of the Year 2011” by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.
