Recent few years of US an hour shows, myself, I used to be a huge fan of 24. it was a quite hit in Japan, although I haven't got a chance to watch season 6.
Here in Canada, or I should say Ontario maybe? Their preferences are a little different from that of ours. People who I've met don't seem to be interested in 24 as much, which I thought 24 was biggest hit among others? Instead, they like Prison Break, OC, Heroes and etc...
I just finished watching Heroes season 1. it is an interesting show, first off, it is a type of super heroish characteres. they are humans, yet those have ability to perform unusual, some can fly, other can read minds. each characters owns different ablility from another.
Second off, there's a japanese character sepaking both japanese and English, and he is a one of important characters to save the world.
It seems there are a few Japanese involved in making this show, I find it quite interesting and suprising. I don't know whether they are Japan born or not, maybe US born. I'd like to google them to see their bio.
