J.Crew: Made in Italy – About a Thread Count
In this video, which features J. Crew Creative Director and President Jenna Lyons alongside head of men’s design Frank Muytjens, we go on a journey to some of the oldest fabric manufacturing facilities in Italy to see how the highest quality shirts are produced and then selected for use by J. Crew’s design team. The clip provides a behind-the-scenes look into the factories of high-quality shirting manufacturers like Thomas Mason, which has been around since 1876, and the prestigious Crespi factory, established in 1797.
