阿波踊りをユーストリーム（インターネットで動画を配信できるサイト）で生中継、しかも色々な言語で配信するという企画があり、今回僕とぶりあなが英語のチャンネルを担当させて頂く事になりました！そして、スペイン語チャンネルには顔は沖縄人やけどは本当はペルー人なハロがやってくれます！さらにTwitterと連携して、世界中の人達がリアルタイムで質問ができ、それに答えたりもしていきます。
前回の生放送では日本語だけでしたが、なんと２６カ国から約９万回ものアクセスがあったようです。
１２日、１４日、１５日とさせていただくので是非是非見てくださいね！！

Hi! This is Brianna, and I'm going to tell you how a new member joined our family today.
こんばんは！ブリアナです。今日から新しいメンバーが家族に入った話しをします。
Today I was taking a walk, and suddenly a small kitten came out of the bushes nearour house and started meowing loudly. He kept circling around my legs so I couldn't walk anymore.
今日、私が散歩している時、小さな子猫が家の辺りのヤブから出てきて大きい声で「にゃー」と鳴き出した。そして私がもう歩けないように私の足を回っていた。
I pet him a little bit and tried to walk back home, but he followed me, meowing the whole way.
私はちょっと頭をなでたら帰ろうとしたけど、アイツはずっとニャーニャー鳴きながらついて来ました。
I noticed that he was really thin, so I led him to the house and fed him. But I soon realized that he was more interested in being pet than anything else. As soon as I stopped petting him, he would start meowing again.
物凄く細いという事に気づいて、家まで連れて言って餌をやりました。でも、アイツが何よりもなでてもらうことに関心しているってすぐ分かりました。手を離すとすぐまたニャーニャー鳴き出したので。
So before our classes today, we took him to the vet to get him checked out. We found out that he's a male, about 2 or 3 months old, and he had been abandoned by his previous owner. He was probably meowing so much because he was lonely.
だから今日の授業の前に、獣医に連れて行って診てもらいました。それで、彼は雄♂で、年は２，３ヶ月で、元の飼い主に捨てられたという事が分かりました。そんなにニャーニャー言ってたのは多分、淋しかったからなんでしょう。
So we got Junpei's family's permission, and we decided to keep him starting today.
だから順平の家族のみんなの許可をもらって、今日から飼うことにしました！
Before we took him to the vet, we had been thinking he was a girl, so we gave him the name Suika. It's because his eyes are bluish-green like a watermelon, he has stripes that look like a watermelon, and we have a lot of tiny watermelons about his size at our house at this time of year.
彼を獣医に連れて行く前に、ずっとメスかと思い込んでいたので、「すいか」という名前を付けました。それは、目が西瓜みたいな青緑色をしているし、毛が西瓜みたいな縞模様だし、この時期に彼と同じぐらい小さな西瓜が家にあるからです。
After we found out he was a boy, I wanted to pick out Chinese characters for hisname that weren't too girly. I decided on 翠夏. The characters mean "green" and "summer". Junpei says this is a little forced, but I think the meaning is perfect for him!
本当は雄だという事が分かったら、私はあまり女っぽすぎる感じがしない漢字を決めてあげたかったです。だから「翠夏」にしました。字は「みどり」と「なつ」という意味です。順平にとってはちょっと無理やりみたいだけど、私は翠夏ちゃんにぴったりだと思います！
Suika (nickname: Watermelon) was born on June 1st, the same day as me (we decided). His hobbies include rubbing against people and meowing. His dislikes include being alone.
翠夏（仇名：Watermelon）は私と同じく、６月１日生まれです（勝手に決めたけど。）趣味はヒトにこすり付ける事・ニャーニャー言う事など。嫌いな事は独りぼっちでいる事など。
