King of reggae

Growing up in a Jamaican household, Bob Marley was no staranger to my family. My father was rastafarian with dread locks that swept the floor; Needless to say Bob Marley's music was an integral influence in my life. For as long as I could rememer, I was singing and bumming his tunes. On May 11, 1981 he died due to the spread of cancer. Marley's musical influence and message still lives today. If you listen, his songs are words of wisdom for all walks of life. He loved peace and wanted people to be aware of the injustice that was happening all over the world.　I feel priviledged to have been raised with his music and ideals. He was a father, musician,　philosopher, revolutionary and so much more. I encourage anyone and everyone to listen to his music if you haven't already. You would be surprised at how uplifting his music can be; it hits the soul. But don't worry " One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain."~Bob Maeley~
